The Collections of Smoke Woodworking

Smoke woodworking was a creation of BooDog Designs. Many have asked where the name BooDog Designs comes from. My wife and I’s first dog was named Bailey, we affectionately called her Bailey-Boo and the Boo-Dog. After nearly 17 years with Bailey, we had to say goodbye. This was in the infancy of building my business. We could think of no better way to honor Bailey-Boo than by naming the business in her spirit.

Our little dog family has since grown and we now added three dogs since Bailey with two remaining, they have become part of the business as well. Our collections are named after them.

The Daisy Collection

Daisy was a stubborn red Dachshund who loved to sleep and cuddle. Her reddish brown color looked like a perfect glass of whisky. And much like a good glass of whiskey, Daisy’s cuddles would keep you warm at night. Sadly, we lost Dasiy in the summer of 2023 after having her for nearly 17 years. Our single cigar and whiskey blocks are named in honor of Daisy Doodle.

The Duke Collection

Our only boy dog. A rough and handsome guy that can be the life of the party. He’s a cool dog and a perfect little guy to honor the masculine style of much of the double cigar and whiskey block ashtrays we’ve made. Just don’t smoke around Duke, this crazy dog hates smoke and will run back to the house.

The Daphne Collection

Daphne is the true Princess of the house. Without question, the most playful and mischievous of the bunch. Daphne’s best buddy is unquestionably Mrs. BooDog and will always be found right by her side. She beautifully represents the spirit of friendship in the double cigar ashtrays we’ve made. Like Daphne and Mrs. BooDog, these blocks are meant to spend some time with your best buddy.

The Dottie Collection

The newest addition to our fur-family. We were lucky to adopt Dottie after she was rescued from an abusive household. Easily the most affectionate dog of the bunch, Dottie loves to snuggle and appreciates any quality time she gets to share with her family. Dottie represent the importance of quality time spent with our single cigar ashtrays.
